GENERAL FEATURES:
Machine body is easy to carry thanks to its robust structure, arc welded steel construction and scale pins placed for the assembly of block frames and offers quick installation. Drawing heads and rolling mil boxes, motors, brakes, safety equipment, water feeding and return coolant pipes etc. are mounted to the body. Drawing heads are cast steel. Drawing belt surface is coated 75 mm tungsten carbide. Cooling water is fed to the drawing blocks and rolling mill boxes by a special system.
Motor power depends of the product produced. (rolling mill diameters, material hardness etc.) Ac motors are controlled by inverters having torque control release technique and this brings many advantages for them. (Low-maintenance, high power linearity, and optimum speed linearity). Power transmission is made by belt and pulleys. Motors are mounted at the back of the body vertically with a mechanism providing easy belt tension.
There is Pneumatic and dynamic braking system on each motor for emergency and normal stops. Normal stops of the machine are realized with programmable stop times. Electrical safety prevent the operation of the machine if the safety locks of the machine are open. All electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components are world-renowned brands; inverters for AC motors are ABB brand and the motors are GAMAK brand.
